Preparation

Bring 20 g of water to a boil, add the impatiens blossoms and sprinkle the citric acid over top. Strain and cool. Then add 500 g of preserving sugar and one level teaspoon of agar-agar and bring to a boil. Simmer for four minutes on a low heat. Skim off and pour into sterile jars. Keeps for at least one year.
